Jimmy Kostarelos was not quite 13 years old when a neighbor who owned a Quarter-Midget type racer introduced him to the sport. It didn't take long for him to make up his mind that he had to have one, too. Racing at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse and throughout Central and Western New York State, Jimmy began putting together the pieces of his still blossoming but increasingly successful motor sports story.

Having won several local and state championships in the open wheel cars, Jimmy's career path took him into the Legends cars in 2005 where he promptly won five features and finished third in points at the Chemung Speedrome on the 3/8-mile oval. As if that weren't enough, he had the chance to try out a Go-Kart at the highly-competitive Indoor concrete race at the NYS Fairgrounds, and he's already put that into victory lane as well and recorded several top five finishes. Known for his ever-present smile, JK is definitely one to watch as he pursues his dream of racing in NASCAR.
